About Us
Sissinghurst Castle Farmhouse is a handsome Victorian Farmhouse on the Sissinghurst Castle National Trust estate near Cranbrook in the beautiful Weald of Kent.
We are a luxury nine-bedroom bed and breakfast, which in recent years has been lovingly restored by the National Trust. Our bedrooms are all individually furnished and have spectacular views across the estate or towards the Elizabethan Tower. A delicious à la carte breakfast and in the afternoon a pot of freshly brewed tea and homemade cake are included.
Truly unique and peaceful, the house is just 50 metres from the world famous gardens of Sissinghurst Castle and within a 450 acre estate of ancient woodland and farmland in the heart of The Garden of England.
Superb location to explore Kentish treasures like other famous gardens (e.g. Great Dixter), vineyards (e.g. Chapel Down, Balfour, Gusbourne), country houses (e.g. Knole House, Chartwell, Penshurst Place, Pashley Manor & Batemans) and castles (e.g Scotney, Bodium, Leeds & Hever). Well placed for The Channel Tunnel, London (1 hour by train) and London Airports.
There is elevator access to all rooms with the exception of the Lovehurst Suite. Regretfully, we cannot accept children or babies under the age of 8. Although we have our own labrador, we are sorry we cannot accept other pets.
